French furniture in the style of Louis XVI
Even before the death of Louis XV in 1775, was abandoned furniture style associated with his government in favor of a simple neoclassical style, which is identified with his successor, Louis XVI.

The rococo style slowly faded as people became interested in new discoveries. It sticks to the size and grace of Louis XV, instead of scaling the baroque style of Louis XIV for a better identification of the Louis XVI style, here are the basic features.
1. Has folded, thin, straight cut legs usually adorned with a square box with rosette.
2. Has been developed mechanical bow compass and curves, never freely.
3. Most of the furniture is classical motifs such as columns, urns and lyres.
4. It has kept the old style construction delicate grace and sensibility in all of its design.
